halloween costume edition! 

i know its been a bit since i posted, so i figured i would write about my two halloween costumes.

the first one is lydia deetz from beetlejuice. my boyfriend was beetlejuice. it was really simple and super fun. i just got a black lacey dress, fishnets, boots, and a black veil, teased the shit out of my hair and did her famous bangs. 

the second one is Mia Wallace from pulp fiction…it was the simplest one out of the two i just bought a guys button down, used a pair of my black croped pants, black flats and put a black bob wig and sewed a needle to the shirt to make it look like i was stuck in the chest with a needle.

im sorry i havent blogged outfits in awhile. i am going to try and get back into the swing of things again and maybe try to get some tribulations going.

anyways! here are a few of my favorite fall outfits i been wearing lately. i been really into laying dresses with leggings and boots. 

I stole this from a friend on facebook, and I fell in love with the story and wanted to share it with you all, so here this is, written by Delphine Fieberg.

A while back, at the entrance of a gym, there was a picture of a very thin and beautiful woman. The caption was “This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?”

The story goes, a woman (of clothing size unknown) answered the following way: 

“Dear people, whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, seals, curious humans), they are sexually active and raise their children with great tenderness.
They entertain like crazy with dolphins and eat lots of prawns. They swim all day and travel to fantastic places like Patagonia, the Barents Sea or the coral reefs of Polynesia.
They sing incredibly well and sometimes even are on cds. They are impressive and dearly loved animals, which everyone defend and admires.

Mermaids do not exist.

But if they existed, they would line up to see a psychologist because of a problem of split personality: woman or fish?
They would have no sex life and could not bear children.
Yes, they would be lovely, but lonely and sad.
And, who wants a girl that smells like fish by his side?

Without a doubt, I’d rather be a whale.

At a time when the media tells us that only thin is beautiful, I prefer to eat ice cream with my kids, to have dinner with my husband, to eat and drink and have fun with my friends.

We women, we gain weight because we accumulate so much wisdom and knowledge that there isn’t enough space in our heads, and it spreads all over our bodies.
We are not fat, we are greatly cultivated.
Every time I see my curves in the mirror, I tell myself: “How amazing am I ?! “

Hey guys! Long time no talk. I can not wait to get back home and get back into blogging about fashion. I’m posting this pic because this is the last pic I have of me in normal clothing, otherwise I’ve been wearing nothing but my uniform (white top, blue shorts, BORING). I went out saturday with a few friends, and this was my outfit for the night. I ran home from work and got dressed, so it wasn’t anything fancy. but super comfy, and cute!

My names Heather. Im 20 and I live in Delaware. My life is pretty great. I have a decent job, great friends, and a great outcome on life. Music is everything to me.
